2 Rounds of Possible Severe Thunderstorms Monday - Level 2/5 Risk

Strong to severe storms, possibly in 2 rounds, set to impact the region Monday. Our thoughts have not changed much for Monday. We will have the potential for severe storms and our entire area is in the level 2 risk of severe weather. We continue to believe 2 rounds of storms are possible. One round of storms could impact the area between 11 AM and 1 PM. These storms could have strong winds and heavy rain, the tornado threat looks very low for this round. IF we can destabilize and see sunshine after round 1, then another round of storms is possible from 5 PM - 2 AM Tuesday morning. All modes of severe weather would be possible with damaging winds and flooding being the main threats. This is a very fluid and conditional forecast. We will have the very latest as it becomes available. Another update is possible late this evening and guaranteed by early tomorrow morning around 6 AM.
