FirstWARN Tri-Cities hosting Community Relief Drive for Middle, TN Tornadoes.

For Immediate Release – FirstWARN Tri-Cities partners with multiple community organizations and businesses to set up a relief drive for those affected by the Middle TN Tornadoes.

 





 


Local internet weather page FirstWARN Tri-Cities has teamed up with Matt Smith Reality, the Community Resource Center of Nashville, John S. Battle High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and local libraries /businesses to collect donations for those affected by the Middle TN Tornadoes. On December 9, 2023, a tornado outbreak occurred in Middle TN causing significant damage along with multiple injuries and deaths in multiple counties across the mid-state. The Tri-Cities community can help those affected by donating in our community donation boxes placed in Bristol at the Bristol Public Library, in Kingsport at the Kingsport Public Library, in Johnson City at the Johnson City Medical Center, and at Bill Wagener – State Farm in Blountville from December 15, 2023, through December 31, 2023.

We have also partnered with the John S Battle FBLA to help with this project and collect donations at John Battle High School in Washington County Virginia. Donations will also be accepted at the John S Battle vs Marion basketball games on December 28, 2023


Donations being accepted include basic essentials like soap and body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant and other hygiene products, cleaning needs, baby needs, first aid kits, NEW clothes and extension cords.
