Light Snow Possible Friday Night into Saturday

Snow remains possible Friday night into early Saturday as precipitation moves in after 7 p.m. Friday. Most areas will start as rain before quickly changing to snow overnight.

Changeover Timing:

• After 9 PM – Southwest VA, Eastern KY, and mountain tops.

• After 11 PM – Rest of the region.

Snow Totals:

• Southwest VA: 1–3 inches possible

• Elsewhere: Trace to 1 inch

Most of the area should see at least some snowflakes, even if it happens while you’re asleep. Some but not all will see snowfall accumulation with this system.

Precipitation tapers off after 7 AM Saturday.
