Overnight severe storms possible Wednesday night - Thursday morning

Severe weather remains possible between 7 PM Wednesday and 4 AM Thursday across the FirstWARN Tri-Cities region with all modes of severe weather possible.

Storms are expected to form into a line to our west and will move west to east across the area, which will bring the main chance for severe weather.

Damaging winds are the primary threat but some hail and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

We are also monitoring the low chance of a storm developing ahead of the main line. If that happens, it could potentially become severe as well. Right now, that risk is low but not zero.

Because storms may move through overnight while many people are asleep, it is especially important to have multiple ways to receive severe weather alerts.

Our team will provide LIVE coverage if severe weather develops Wednesday night into early Thursday.

Stay weather aware and follow FirstWARN Tri-Cities for the latest updates.
