Severe Storm Threat Sunday Night - Early Monday Morning

Strong to severe storms are possible tonight - early Monday morning. All modes of severe weather will be possible especially in the western half of our viewing area. A level 2 risk of severe weather has been issued for all of Eastern Kentucky and western parts of SWVA and NETN. The rest of the area is in level 1 risk of severe storms. Damaging winds and hail up to quarter size is the main threat with a few isolated tornadoes possible especially in the western half of the area. With this being an overnight threat, make you sure you have multiple ways to receive severe weather alerts that will wake you up. We will be LIVE if any warnings are issued for our area with team coverage of the storms to make sure you and your family stay safe.
