• Southwestern areas towards Greeneville: Less than ½ inch of snow is likely.
Timing:
• Precipitation moves in after 10 PM
• SW VA & Eastern KY: Rain/snow mix quickly changing to snow
• Tri-Cities: Starts as rain after midnight, changing to snow after 2 AM
• Snow tapers off after 8 AM Saturday
Impacts:
Brief travel impacts possible Saturday morning especially in Southwest Virginia and Eastern Kentucky.
With highs in the low to mid-40s, any snow that falls will melt quickly after sunrise.
