FINAL SNOWFALL FORECAST --
This is our final snowfall forecast for the upcoming Winter Storm as it is time to go into snow tracking mode. 3-6 inches is most common across the area, but 6-8 inch totals are possible especially across SWVA. We could see a mix of sleet at some point tomorrow around the TN/NC border which could lower totals in those area. At this time, we do not believe this mix will make it into the Tri-Cities, but we are watching. Some light to moderate scattered snow is possible tonight. Heavy snow will be possible especially after 10 AM tomorrow. The heaviest snow is from the early afternoon through the evening and when is most of the heavy accumulation will occur. Some locally lower or higher amounts are possible based on where snow bands setup.
