WEDNESDAY IS A FIRSTWARN TRI-CITIES WEATHER ALERT DAY Severe Storms are possible - likely. Share with friends!

Models continue to indicate the ingredients will be there tomorrow afternoon, evening, and overnight for severe thunderstorms with all severe hazards possible. Large hail will be the main threat with any thunderstorm that develops, some storms could contain up to golf ball size hail or larger. Damaging winds and a few tornadoes are possible in the region as well. The main threat for severe thunderstorm activity will be from 6 PM - 2 AM, but storms could form as early as 3 PM and end as late as 5 AM. As of right now most of our region is in a level 3/5 risk of severe storms with a level 2 risk for the rest of the area. The level 3 risk could be expanded so make sure to stay tuned to forecast. With some of this event occurring during the overnight hours please make sure you have multiple ways to receive severe weather alerts that will wake you up. During warnings tomorrow we will be LIVE on Facebook, X, YouTube, B106 Tri-Cities, and our website.
